The brief: AUTHOR. was tasked with designing a vibrant and engaging website to support the launch of A Tavola, a newly established styling and catering service in Newcastle. Alongside this, we developed creative copywriting to bring the Italian-inspired brand to life and communicate its heartfelt story.  

The story: A Tavola is inspired by the business owner Gabriella’s cherished Nonna, whose love for food and family shaped the foundation of the brand. With "A Tavola" meaning “come and eat, dinner is ready,” Gabriella believes in the power of food to bring people together. The brand reflects her passion for creating deep connections over a beautifully styled dining experience. 

The look: To align with the existing brand identity, AUTHOR. designed a bright, colourful, and inviting website. The site features curved sections, bold typography, dynamic animations, and playful shapes, capturing the warmth and joy of shared meals. 

The message: “Bespoke dinner parties made with love.” Our creative copywriting focused on showcasing A Tavola’s unique value proposition—delivering beautifully styled, intimate dining experiences with heart. Through carefully crafted messaging, we helped establish the brand’s personality, setting the stage for meaningful connections through food.
