AUTHOR. was recruited as a support for two of the Port of Newcastle’s major events in conjunction with the prestigious GreenPort Oceania Congress, a significant event for the region.

The purpose of AUTHOR.’s involvement included aligning the sustainable environmental values of the congress with the two evening events, a welcome drinks and a gala dinner. Tasks included supporting the business’s internal team with planning, managing and coordinating both events. This all encompassing event management role engaged responsibilities that included; sourcing event locations, managing RSVPs, engaging local floral suppliers and styling, briefing suppliers, sourcing environmentally friendly conference supplies (eg. seeded invites, hire furniture etc.), coordinating catering and other management tasks to bring to life the events for the client.
